Sweet Six Month Old

Haley Madeline is 6 months old!

She is 18lbs 12.2 oz and 26.5 inches long.  She is moving around now, rolling across the room and trying to get those knees under her so she can crawl.  She is social, loves to talk and smile with people and mimic sounds, although there are times where she is definitely shy.  As always, we are in love with our little Haley and celebrate her life! 

 

 And because she was in a SUPER happy mood, we had a photo shoot.  I cannot resist posting the pics...enjoy!

  She is such a crack up! I am loving our happy, squealing, social baby.  She is getting more interactive and interested in people.  It is amazing to see her little personality grow and develop.

Living for Today

As I mourn with those who are mourning and pray with those who are praying, my heart is only comforted by the fact that our God mourns with us.  Our world is filled with depravity but it is also filled with God's goodness and love despite the evil that surrounds us.  I am clinging to God and holding onto my baby a little bit more knowing that I don't know what tomorrow will bring. 

 Our suffering Savior understands completely.

"For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weakness, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need."

Hebrews 4:15-16 

 

Sweet Cheeks

I can't get enough of Haley's cheeks!!!!

Sweet cheeks is getting cuter by the day and growing like a wild flower (who wants to be called a weed...I mean come on).  just look at those cheeks, oh my heart strings!

Lazy Morning with Daddy

7am does not look good on me...most mornings I pull Haley into bed with Zach and me until I can see straight.  I love when Zach and Haley have their morning snuggle time.  I love my baby daddy...seriously though, I do.  And Haley loves her daddy too!

Five Months and Scooting

Haley baby is 5 1/2 months old...when did that happen?  I cannot believe it.  

 She is too cute!

 Her sweet little face melts my heart...those cheeks!

She is growing so fast and is learning so many new skills.  I think she is a strong little girl...sitting pretty much on her own, rotating and scooting all around on the ground, and interacting ALL of the time.  We are proud of our little baby girl and although the idea of a mobile baby kinda freaks me out, we are excited to see her becoming more of her own, beautiful, little self :)

 She was originally on the play mat facing the opposite direction...I have no clue how she got this way.

Happy Belated Thanksgiving! We were in California and I had no time to blog...tons of family pics coming soon.

Jolly Jumping Haley

Haley baby is a wonderful blend of happy yet serious,

she's learning to stand and jump,

 she loves it when I sing to her (that is how I got her to smile like this),

 

 

and is becoming an independent little one.

She still LOVES her daddy and that melts my heart.

We are truly enjoying her as she grows more and more independent.

Little Love Bug

Good news...my camera is on its way back to me :) We shall see if it is back to tip top shape.  My lens on the other hand...sadly it won't be returning to me so I will have to settle for awhile on a less than preferred lens.  I did have a chance to snap a few shots of my lovely little lady bug.

4 Months and Adorable!

We are loving our little Haley and cannot believe she is already 4 months old!  

 Remember when she was just 2 weeks old?!?

 So tiny and her skin smelled like newborn baby...sometimes I find myself missing my little 2 week old Haley.  But then I look at her now and I am amazed.  Thankfulness is threaded throughout each moment with her.

So what is she up to at 4 months?  She is 16 lbs, 7.4 ounces, 25 inches long, and clearly she is keeping her blue eyes.  Well, you may have seen the blog post about her rolling over...she is really getting the hang of that now.  She can sit without me with a little help from the boppy pillow.  She smiles, squeals, and chats away.  She seems to be a little shy with large crowds of people or overwhelmed with new people all up in her grill but she smiles and chats with people otherwise.  So I am thinking she is a social introvert or in other words, she likes people but is a little shy.  For me, she is such a joy.

My Little Pumpkin

Haley is 4 months old today...I cannot believe it.  And of course I didn't take her "official" monthly picture before I broke my camera and lens (sad face).  I am so bummed about that but luckily, I got some shots of her at the pumpkin patch.  I wish I wouldn't have rushed taking them but they are still pretty cute.

Rolling...

This is Haley after she rolled onto her tummy from her back!

 We have a roller!  She is much like her calculated daddy and it takes her 2 minutes to roll all the way onto her tummy from her back (literally, you don't need to really watch the video past 2 minutes 15 seconds...but it does take her that long to roll over).

We are so proud of our Haley baby.
